Over his career, he has developed by seeking feedback, taking full ownership of problems, staying curious beyond technical tasks, and focusing on&nbsp;real business&nbsp;results instead of just technical wins. With his consulting experience, he highlights five key areas that show how much a Data Scientist can grow with the right challenges.&nbsp;</p>



<p>His journey began with a genuine interest in using information to explain customer behavior and support decision-making.&nbsp;Along the way, he realized he did not want to limit himself to summary reports.&nbsp;He wanted to go deeper, exploring what questions data could answer, where it could drive prediction, and where it could unlock efficiency. That curiosity pushed him to connect the dots between data, technology, and business, creating real value for organizations. At&nbsp;Bluebik, he has worked across a wide range of industries, including banking, automotive, and energy.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&#8220;The role of a Data Scientist isn&#8217;t just about building models,&#8221; Tide explains.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;It covers everything from understanding the business problem and asking the right questions, to exploring and assessing data quality, designing features, building the right logic, developing and evaluating models, and ultimately communicating insights in a way that the business team can actually act on.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;In the context of&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;as a leading Digital Enterprise Transformation consulting firm, the scope expands even broader.&nbsp;We&#8217;re&nbsp;not here to build models that look impressive on a screen. We&#8217;re here to help clients get clarity on the actual problem they&#8217;re trying to solve.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>“A Data Scientist is not just one type of craftsman. We translate the homeowner’s needs into something that can&nbsp;actually be&nbsp;built and lived in. If I had to simplify it, it is like being both an architect and an engineer at the same time.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>To explain further, an architect needs to know what kind of home the owner wants, how they plan to use it, the budget, and any limits. In data work, this means understanding the business problem, what stakeholders expect, and what success looks like. A structural engineer checks the site, making sure the foundation is solid, there&nbsp;are enough materials, and all systems connect properly. In data, this means checking data quality, designing features, choosing the right model, and setting up effective data governance.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>3 Levels of Data Utilization: Turning Data into Real Change </strong></h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">&#8220;No matter what the data is, it only makes a difference if you turn it into something the organization can use to make decisions,&#8221; Tide says. He sees three main ways data can drive real change:&nbsp;</h4>



<p><strong>1. Descriptive &amp; Diagnostic:&nbsp;</strong>This means using data to help a company see what happened and why. For example, it could show where customer behavior changed, which groups are most at risk, or if a past campaign met its goals.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>2. Predictive:&nbsp;</strong>Using data to forecast what might happen next. This includes things like churn prediction, demand forecasting, and customer value scoring. These help organizations look back at what happened and plan for&nbsp;what’s&nbsp;ahead.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>3. Action Driven:</strong> This is the most important level. Data should lead to action. For example, it can help identify target groups, design custom campaigns, and determine how to retain customers and boost profits. </p>



<p>“In consulting, our role is not just to highlight interesting insights. We must help clients answer what to do next and how to measure success. That is where data truly drives change.” Tide Added.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">To succeed as a Data Scientist at Bluebik, Tide highlights four key skills: </h4>

<p>&#8220;This is probably where I have grown the most. My understanding of business has become significantly deeper. Earlier in my career, I was focused on finding answers in the data or on improving model performance to strong numbers. Coming to&nbsp;Bluebik, I learned what&nbsp;actually matters&nbsp;first: the business problem, the decision the organization is trying to make, and the outcome that would matter to the stakeholders. The shift&nbsp;that&#8217;s&nbsp;most obvious to me is that I no longer start by asking &#8216;what model should I use?&#8217; I start by asking, &#8216;If we solve this problem, what is the impact?&#8217; That reframe has made my entire way of thinking more professional.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h5 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>2. Technical Depth and Problem Solving </strong></h5>



<p>&#8220;Working across diverse problems, each with its own data limitations, has pushed me beyond just model building.&nbsp;I&#8217;ve&nbsp;had to develop the ability to design the right approach for the problem at hand, choosing methods that balance accuracy, interpretability, and real-world readiness. I&nbsp;don&#8217;t&nbsp;think about technical skills as isolated competencies anymore. I see them as a system: how do data, execution, evaluation, and business constraints connect to produce the best possible&nbsp;solution?&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h5 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>3. Communication and Stakeholder Management </strong></h5>



<p>&#8220;Since joining&nbsp;Bluebik, I&#8217;ve had consistent practice explaining complex things clearly to very different audiences: senior executives, business teams, and technical teams. That also means managing expectations, building shared understanding among multiple stakeholders, and driving alignment and clear direction. The biggest shift I notice in myself is that I used to focus on getting the answer right. Now I focus equally on making sure the right people hear it in the right way.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h5 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>4. Ownership and End-to-End Delivery </strong></h5>



<p>&#8220;At&nbsp;Bluebik, I&#8217;ve come to understand that a Data Scientist who creates real impact has to see the full picture. That means owning the work from problem framing through to recommendations and real-world implementation.&nbsp;I&#8217;ve&nbsp;shifted from someone who focused on doing their part well, to someone who thinks about how the whole thing succeeds: what are the risks, what drives it forward, and how do we make sure it actually&nbsp;lands?&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h5 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>5. Consulting Mindset </strong></h5>



<p>&#8220;One of the biggest shifts for me has been&nbsp;thinking in terms of&nbsp;client value.&nbsp;I&#8217;ve&nbsp;learned that the best answer&nbsp;isn&#8217;t&nbsp;always the most complex or technically advanced.&nbsp;It&#8217;s the one that fits the client&#8217;s context and actually produces results.&nbsp;That change in perspective is what has made me feel like I&#8217;m growing from being a Data Scientist into being a Trusted Advisor.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The 6 Checklists of Excellence: The Personal Standards That Define Great Work </strong></h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">When asked what excellence means, Tide shared his personal checklist. </h4>



<p><strong>1. The problem is clear:&nbsp;</strong>The problem must be well defined. I always ask what the goal is and how to measure success. Without clarity, even the best model might not be useful.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>2. Data is trustworthy: The data must</strong>&nbsp;be reliable. I check data quality every time, looking at completeness, consistency, and assumptions. For me, the work&nbsp;can&#8217;t&nbsp;be excellent if&nbsp;we&#8217;re&nbsp;not sure about the&nbsp;data quality.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>3. Method is&nbsp;appropriate: Pick</strong>ing the right method&nbsp;isn’t&nbsp;just about complexity&nbsp;or accuracy.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;about what fits the purpose. Sometimes, a model&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;too complex and hard to explain&nbsp;isn’t&nbsp;the best choice. I focus on tools that truly solve&nbsp;the business need, not just&nbsp;the technical one.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>4. Output must be&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;and complete:&nbsp;</strong>Deliverables need to be both correct and thorough.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;not just about showing numbers or insights alone. It means checking everything carefully, being open with clients about data limits, and making sure quality checks are done before sharing results.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>5. Insights lead to action:&nbsp;</strong>My work should always lead to action.&nbsp;I ask myself, after seeing these results, what can stakeholders actually do next?&nbsp;If the answer is just &#8216;read the report,&#8217; there’s still room to improve. That question keeps my work honest.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>6. Reusability and Sustainability:&nbsp;</strong>Solutions must be sustainable. That means writing clean, standards-compliant code, avoiding brittle logic that is hard to adapt, and making sure the solution is reproducible and monitorable. The goal is always for the client&#8217;s team to be able to pick it up,&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;it, and&nbsp;build on&nbsp;it effectively, long after the engagement ends.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Kaewpraparn&nbsp;(Kamkaew), a fourth-year student from the Bachelor of Business Administration, Thammasat University.&nbsp;</h4>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Why&nbsp;Bluebik?&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p><strong>Neuy:</strong>&nbsp;For me, I always heard about&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;from many friends, both from the same faculty and other faculties. Then, I started following&nbsp;Bluebik’s&nbsp;work on social media. I noticed that their marketing approach was quite different from what I was familiar with, as it&nbsp;mainly focused&nbsp;on B2B communication and business-oriented content. This challenge encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and explore marketing from a new perspective at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Group.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Kamkaew:</strong>&nbsp;I first learned about&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;through a senior from my faculty and later had the opportunity to speak with the recruitment team again at a Career Fair. It helped me gain a clearer understanding of how a Digital Transformation company does marketing. They focused on communicating the company’s&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;and building the brand&#8217;s credibility. I found this approach both interesting and challenging, which inspired me to pursue the opportunity to learn more and gain firsthand experience in this field.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Our Individual Roles&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p><strong>Kamkaew</strong>: I&nbsp;assisted&nbsp;with the Event&nbsp;activities&nbsp;under the supervision of&nbsp;P’Kong&nbsp;(Chaiwat). With prior experience&nbsp;organizing activities at my university, I developed an interest in event&nbsp;planning,&nbsp;including&nbsp;coordinating&nbsp;and overseeing the overall flow of an event. This led to an opportunity to support&nbsp;P’Kong&nbsp;in managing the company’s events. The main responsibility was to organize events to increase awareness of the company’s services among its target audience. Some events were organized solely by&nbsp;Bluebik, while others were held in collaboration with our business partners. I gained an understanding of&nbsp;Bluebik’s&nbsp;services, the company’s overall business context, the key messages our partners wanted to communicate, and the needs of our clients, who were mostly at the executive level. Their perspectives and expectations differ significantly from those of general consumers that I was more familiar with.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Neuy:</strong>&nbsp;I am keen to learn about content writing in the business aspects. Therefore, I&nbsp;was responsible for&nbsp;the Content role under the guidance of&nbsp;P’Pleng&nbsp;(Narinrat). My main task was to read articles on&nbsp;Bluebik’s&nbsp;website and turn them into short and engaging social media content, considering the target audience, post format, and&nbsp;appropriate tone&nbsp;of voice. For each task, I usually prepared several options for&nbsp;P’Pleng&nbsp;to review and then refined them based on feedback to make the content clearer and more engaging. Through this process, I gained valuable experience in content writing from a business-oriented perspective, something I had never done before.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What We Worked on Together&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>Beyond our individual responsibilities, we also had the opportunity to work together. Our team encouraged us to share ideas and execute actions, such as creating short clips for&nbsp;Bluebik’s&nbsp;TikTok channel, from developing concepts to planning, filming, and preparing editing briefs. This allowed us to fully&nbsp;utilize&nbsp;our ideas and oversee the content creation process.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>We also worked on research and data analysis tasks that required attention to detail and systematic thinking, and we shared&nbsp;with the team for further strategic development. This&nbsp;was challenging but helped us improve our skills and grow closer as a team.&nbsp;</p>



<p>However, our experience&nbsp;wasn’t&nbsp;limited to&nbsp;office&nbsp;work. We also had the opportunity to attend several company events, including a press conference and the&nbsp;launch&nbsp;of&nbsp;Bluebik Digital. Being there allowed us to see the team’s&nbsp;behind-the-scenes work&nbsp;and&nbsp;to&nbsp;support them in different areas as assigned. It was&nbsp;a great opportunity&nbsp;to gain hands-on experience outside the office that is both enjoyable and valuable. At the same time, it helped us better understand various roles within PR and Marketing Communications, and how everything comes together in real execution.&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Intern life, besides working&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>Our internship experience&nbsp;was&nbsp;a mix of knowledge, fun, and valuable experiences. It started with a team environment that was open to ideas and always willing to support one another. We often brainstorm together to&nbsp;come up with&nbsp;fresh marketing ideas, while also updating our progress and catching up with our supervisors every week. Our team is very lovely and supportive, which made the working atmosphere feel relaxed rather than stressful. It also helped improve the overall quality of the work we produce.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Our team worked in a hybrid format, alternating between working from the office and working from home, which offered great flexibility.&nbsp;The atmosphere was especially lively on office days,&nbsp;with some corners,&nbsp;such as the snooker table,&nbsp;where we often played&nbsp;during lunch breaks.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;a great way&nbsp;to relax and recharge before getting back to work. There&nbsp;is&nbsp;also a snack cabinet and drinks available in the pantry for whenever we feel a bit hungry. We can easily grab something to boost our energy.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Another highlight of interning here is the monthly activities organized by the company. Whether&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;Children’s Day, Chinese New Year, or other special occasions, the company often arranges small celebrations with meal boxes, games, and prizes.&nbsp;These activities give us a chance to spend time with colleagues in a casual atmosphere.&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Our Takeaways&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p><strong>Neuy</strong>: Interning&nbsp;at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;gave me the opportunity to learn many new things, both new knowledge and new people. Through my responsibility in content role, I learned the process from ideation and writing to publishing, while also gaining insights into the business world and its leaders’ perspectives by reading articles and turning it into content. The experience also pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me understand marketing from the perspective of a consulting firm, while building meaningful friendships with my team,&nbsp;such as&nbsp;Kamkaew&nbsp;and fellow interns,&nbsp;along the way.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Kamkaew</strong>: This&nbsp;internship has helped broaden my perspective on both marketing and event management. It allowed me to see the bigger picture,&nbsp;from understanding what messages a business wants to communicate and what type of content resonates with the audience, to considering the overall experience that participants take away from an event. It encouraged me to think more strategically&nbsp;and to&nbsp;be more confident in asking questions, sharing ideas, and working with various teams. Through this process, I gained a clearer understanding that successful projects rely on strong teamwork and coordination across&nbsp;different functions. Most importantly, the supportive and approachable atmosphere within the team made this internship not only a valuable professional experience but also a fun learning journey.&nbsp;</p>



<p>We hope our story gives a clearer picture of what there is to learn in PR &amp; Marketing Communications within a consulting firm like&nbsp;Bluebik.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Lastly, both of us are&nbsp;truly grateful&nbsp;for the opportunity to intern at&nbsp;Bluebik. This experience allowed us to learn from real-world work, discover more about ourselves, and build meaningful friendships,&nbsp;which make this internship enjoyable and truly memorable.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the world of technology, the default image is often tied to speed, numbers, and intense competition. That can leave many people wondering: how much space is there for women in this industry?&nbsp;</p>



<p>At&nbsp;Bluebik, we believe progress comes from people’s potential, not their gender. Our culture is built on empowerment and reflects how we think and work together. This matches the 2026 International Women’s Day theme, “Give and Gain.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>For this International Women&#8217;s Day, we wanted to move beyond slogans. We invite you to see what “opportunity” means through the stories of 3 women. Their experiences show that when a company offers equal opportunity, it gains more than profit; it creates a place where skilled, committed people can be themselves.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Meet&nbsp;<strong>Pim</strong>, Project Manager at&nbsp;Innoviz&nbsp;Solutions, who found confidence through her team’s trust.&nbsp;<strong>Bow</strong>, Associate Director at Management Consulting, is a new mom who learned she could be both a mother and a professional. And&nbsp;<strong>Film</strong>, Customer Strategic Consultant Manager at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Digital, shows that having a safe space to try new things is the best way to learn.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Project Manager, Technical Consultant Team,&nbsp;Innoviz&nbsp;Solutions</strong>&nbsp;<br><em>A woman leader who grew through her team’s trust and turned that trust into confidence in herself.</em>&nbsp;</h4>



<p>As a Project Manager, I lead a team working on D365 (Dynamics 365), an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution that helps clients manage their business resources. I handle projects from start to finish, manage team resources, solve problems, and support sales.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I’ve&nbsp;been a Project Manager for about 4 years, but&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;worked at&nbsp;Innoviz, part of&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Group, for 15 years. I started as an Assistant Technical Consultant. Even after all this time, the work&nbsp;remains&nbsp;interesting because each client and project presents new challenges based on the ERP modules they implement. Another reason&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;stayed is the environment and the colleagues who are always ready to support each other.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a woman,&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;never felt I was treated unfairly. If anything,&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;been well taken care of. For example, when I&nbsp;have to&nbsp;travel far to meet clients, colleagues often volunteer to drive me, ride together, or make sure I get there safely. When it comes to bias or inequality, I honestly have never experienced it.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Innoviz&nbsp;has many women in leadership roles, possibly because consulting often needs accounting skills. Women here take on important roles, share their opinions, and make decisions. This shows me that women can speak up and grow in any direction if they have the skills.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Working with many women means&nbsp;there’s&nbsp;a lot of attention to detail and care. Senior teammates care about both the work and people’s feelings. When problems come up, they encourage and teach you.&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;learned not to be afraid to ask questions, since no one knows everything. Speaking up helps you see other perspectives and builds confidence.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I was really impressed when I became a Project Manager because the company made it clear that promotions are based on qualifications and performance, not on how long&nbsp;you’ve&nbsp;been here or your gender. It confirmed that at&nbsp;Bluebik, we choose people because they are truly capable. When everyone can perform at their best, the company can deliver high-quality work to clients.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since I became a Project Manager, the company has given me leadership training. My team also reminds&nbsp;me&nbsp;they trust my decisions. These things make the work environment better and help me feel more confident.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At&nbsp;Bluebik,&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;part of the Management Consulting (MC) team. I manage projects from designing client strategies and connecting work across business units to leading internal teams. My job is to help plan solutions for clients and then work with digital teams to build the roadmap. Management Consulting acts&nbsp;like&nbsp;a central Project Manager, keeping everything moving.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I’ve&nbsp;worked at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;for 6 years, starting as a Senior Consultant. At first, I&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;expect to grow this much. I just wanted to learn, since everyone around me was so skilled and I felt a bit behind. Getting feedback from leaders helped me improve.&nbsp;</p>



<p>What’s&nbsp;special is that I was never locked into just one role. I started with business-focused work, but leaders also gave me opportunities to try digital projects. That helped me grow. As the company grows,&nbsp;there’s&nbsp;always something new to learn.&nbsp;</p>



<p>In the Management Consulting team, we create a culture where everyone can be themselves, share ideas, and ask questions.&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;often had to admit when I&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;know something, and&nbsp;senior&nbsp;teammates helped me.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;why&nbsp;I believe promotions&nbsp;are about&nbsp;fit&nbsp;and readiness, not gender. This mindset helps people feel confident to grow.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I’ve&nbsp;never felt treated differently because&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;a woman. This company supports me, especially now as a new mom. My baby is 5 months old. When I had severe morning sickness and contractions during pregnancy, my teammates told me to rest if needed, and they would help with the work.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I’m&nbsp;truly grateful. More than just benefits for mothers, the real support came when I was about to return to work. I worried about balancing work and family, especially after sleepless nights with my baby. But when I spoke with HR and my team, they were open to flexible hours as long as I delivered&nbsp;results.&nbsp;</p>



<p>This made me realize I&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;have to choose between being a mom and a professional. I can do both. I can focus on my work and care for my child, which makes me feel confident and proud. Before, I thought consulting meant giving up my personal life, but here, I can have both.&nbsp;</p>



<p>When the company gives you trust and opportunity, you want to&nbsp;give&nbsp;back. I want to deliver&nbsp;great results, make projects successful, and keep clients happy. <p>I’m&nbsp;a Customer Strategic Consultant Manager and oversee Customer Success at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Digital. Our job is to help clients get results, starting from pre-sales when they have a problem, through design, planning, and decision-making. I also lead and help my team&nbsp;grow&nbsp;their skills.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Most clients come to us with problems in their organizations. They want to use technology or software to solve issues or make things simpler. Sometimes they ask how to use&nbsp;new technologies&nbsp;in their business. Our main clients are in the banking, energy, and&nbsp;public sectors.&nbsp;</p>



<p>I’ve&nbsp;worked at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Digital for 8 years since graduating. The work is fast-paced and requires quick, precise decisions. We also focus on creating a safe space where everyone can share ideas, no matter their level. We listen and respect each other’s views.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Being part of a team that listens taught me to think boldly and act with confidence. When I was younger,&nbsp;senior&nbsp;teammates took my ideas seriously. We see each other as colleagues, not just leaders and team members. This made it easy to speak up.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Over the years,&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;seen more women join&nbsp;Bluebik.&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;never felt different because of my gender. Everyone is respected and has the same chance to grow.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Bluebik&nbsp;has given me many opportunities.&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;tried&nbsp;different roles, like&nbsp;Pre-Sale,&nbsp;Business Analyst, partner coordination, and marketing. Working in different areas helped me learn, see&nbsp;the bigger picture,&nbsp;and improve my&nbsp;communication.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;also made me a better advisor for clients.&nbsp;</p>

In this article, we had the opportunity to sit down with two seasoned QA experts from Bluebik Digital: <strong>Boss</strong> and <strong>Jean</strong>, Senior Customer Experience Assurance. Bluebik Digital is the latest business unit under Bluebik Group, dedicated to elevating the quality of digital transformation services, including system development, applications, and solutions. Although Boss and Jean have different roles, both have broad QA experience in many industries. </p>



<p>What makes a good QA professional? What mindset and&nbsp;attention to detail&nbsp;are needed? How do Manual and Automated testing differ? And what does the future hold for QA in the digital age?&nbsp;Let’s&nbsp;explore the experiences and insights of&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jean.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>QA in Every Project: An Indispensable Role in IT Projects&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>&#8220;Being a QA isn’t just about finding bugs.&nbsp;We’re&nbsp;responsible for ensuring the system&#8217;s quality from start to finish, delivering exactly what the client needs. It must be functioning, stable, and scalable for the long term,&#8221; explains&nbsp;Boss, outlining the core responsibilities of a QA.&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;QA doesn’t come into the project once the developers&nbsp;are done&nbsp;coding. From day one, we are involved in understanding the client’s requirements and business flow. Then we plan the testing phases, design Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data. Once designed, the testing begins, followed by communication with the team to address risks and ensure the system’s quality,&#8221; he continues.&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;Simply put, we act as the final checkpoint before the system is released to end users,&#8221;&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;adds.&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">QA is a crucial role that ensures all potential issues are&nbsp;identified&nbsp;and resolved from the start to finish of a project. The testing process includes four phases:&nbsp;</h4>



<ol start="1" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>SIT (System Integration Test):</strong>&nbsp;This phase checks how the front end and&nbsp;back end&nbsp;work together, as well as how the system interacts with other internal and external systems.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>



<ol start="2" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>UAT (User Acceptance Test):</strong>&nbsp;This step lets clients or users confirm that the system meets their original requirements.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>



<ol start="3" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Performance Test:</strong>&nbsp;This phase checks how well the system performs, such as ensuring logins occur within 2 seconds and that the system can handle heavy traffic.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>



<ol start="4" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>PVT (Production Verification Test):</strong>&nbsp;The final test in a live environment to ensure the system works as expected after deployment.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>



<p>While every project goes through these four stages,&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;appreciates the variety of industries&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;works with. &#8220;It’s about learning new things all the time.&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;takes on a wide range of projects, so we&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;focus on just one product. Recently,&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;worked on electric vehicle charging technology. This project is different because we usually test apps or websites, but here, we also&nbsp;have to&nbsp;test the charging stations themselves. It’s exciting work.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Manual vs Automated Testing:&nbsp;What’s&nbsp;the Difference, and How Do They Work Together?&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>QA uses two main testing methods: Manual Testing and Automated Testing.&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;mostly does Manual Testing, checking each step by hand against the test cases. Still, every project also uses Automated Testing.&nbsp;Jean, who specializes in Automated Testing, explains the differences:&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;In Automated Testing, we start by creating project plans and designing Test Cases, just like Manual Testing. However, the key difference is that we develop a program to test the system, rather than using human eyes. After testing, our program generates reports that are shared with the client. At the same time, Manual Testing also collects results to share with the client. Once testing is complete, we&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;the system to the client, walk through different scenarios, and then provide user training,&#8221; explains&nbsp;Jean.&nbsp;</p>



<p>In short, Automated Testing means writing a program to test&nbsp;different parts&nbsp;of the project. This approach requires coding skills, which are important for anyone working in Automated Testing.&nbsp;Jean&nbsp;adds:&nbsp;</p>



<p>&#8220;The benefit of Manual Testing is that it allows us to easily adjust the Test or Scenario whenever there’s a change in requirements. On the other hand, for Automated Testing, changing requirements means we need to redesign the entire testing program. However, once the program is written, it can be used indefinitely. If there’s a change that affects the system, automation makes testing easier since we can simply rerun the automated&nbsp;tests.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>For&nbsp;Jean, the fun of being an Automated Tester began with curiosity during her studies. &#8220;Back then, professors typically pushed students towards Developer roles, but when I learned about QA, I was intrigued. When I tried it during an internship, I discovered automated testing, which made things much easier and allowed me to use my coding skills. That’s when I decided to pursue this path.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Approach to Quality Assurance&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>Jean&nbsp;defines&nbsp;quality assurance&nbsp;as &#8220;quality that is accurate, satisfying, and appropriate.&nbsp;‘Accurate’ means meeting the client’s original requirements. ‘Satisfying’ refers to the client’s impression of the final product, and ‘appropriate’ means aligning the product with the price they paid.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Boss&nbsp;shares a similar view,&nbsp;stating, &#8220;To me, quality is defined by three key elements: accuracy, experience, and trust. Accuracy means the work meets the client’s requirements and business flow. ‘Experience’ refers to how easy, fast, and smooth the system is to use. Finally, ‘trust’ means the system must be secure and reliable, and capable of scaling as needed.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>At&nbsp;Bluebik, we focus on clear, measurable standards. We use a Definition of Done to set criteria for functional, non-functional, and acceptance requirements. We also use a Traceability Matrix to track quality metrics such as defect severity, test coverage, and test reports. This information helps stakeholders decide if the system is ready for release or if there are issues that could affect the client’s business.&nbsp;</p>



<p>As&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;further explains, &#8220;Our approach involves designing testing methods that are tailored to each project&#8217;s unique factors, including technology, risks, people, and client expectations. The challenge is rewarding, as we constantly learn new things and see our work having a significant impact on a national&nbsp;level.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>QA’s Eyes and Experiences: The Critical Attention of a QA Professional&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>When asked what qualities a good QA should&nbsp;possess,&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;emphasizes, &#8220;You must have a curious eye and constantly ask questions. We&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;just assume a system works perfectly until&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;been proven. We need to adopt the end-user’s perspective&nbsp;and also&nbsp;understand the client&#8217;s business to design precise testing. Additionally, technical insight is essential for communicating with the team when problems arise and for devising solutions together. These three perspectives are crucial.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jean&nbsp;also stresses the importance of meticulousness. &#8220;The most important quality is attention to detail and adaptability in testing. Some tasks can be automated, which saves time, but&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;essential to adapt and find creative solutions. For instance, we can automate a process that’s repetitive or convert a Manual test into a script for&nbsp;Automation.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Another crucial aspect of QA that&nbsp;Jeanhighlights is the ability to catch&nbsp;small details. &#8220;Sometimes the design team may specify that text should be bold, but the system doesn’t display it as such. While Automation may miss this, QA must catch it. It’s about seeing those small details that can make a big difference.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Addressing Errors: The QA Mindset&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>So, how do QA professionals handle errors?&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;explains, &#8220;We need to communicate with the team and align on how a mistake might impact the client’s business.&nbsp;We&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;blame anyone, but we need a plan to fix the issue within a specific&nbsp;time frame. A unified mindset and team ownership are key to effective work.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jean&nbsp;adds, &#8220;Soft skills are essential in QA because what we think might be correct may not always be the case. Communication with all teams is vital, and we need to approach situations with flexibility and&nbsp;adaptability.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Future of QA: AI Will Enhance, Not Replace&nbsp;</strong></h3>



<p>In an era where AI is increasingly integrated into the workplace, the role of AI in QA becomes an essential discussion.&nbsp;Jean&nbsp;believes that AI still needs to improve its &#8220;understanding.&#8221; &#8220;Understanding is crucial. Even humans need to&nbsp;comprehend&nbsp;things deeply. Training AI models to meet our needs takes time and&nbsp;expertise. But we can use AI for repetitive tasks, such as validating input fields with predictable patterns. This saves time in some areas.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Boss&nbsp;adds, &#8220;Currently, AI&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;match human judgment, particularly in terms of ‘feeling’.&nbsp;For example, AI might not recognize that a two-second load time feels slow to users. Also, certain errors might not arise from business logic but from user experience, like text size being too small for seniors. These require a human eye for detection.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Both agree that AI will never replace QA. As&nbsp;Boss&nbsp;puts it, &#8220;QA relies on human experience and judgment. AI will assist, but it can never replace the role of a skilled QA professional.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>

<p>A great internship should not end with simply &#8220;getting to try work.&#8221; It should help you build stronger thinking, take real action, and see your growth more clearly. Especially when you get to work with a real team, learn from mentors, and tackle challenges that are not the same as what you find in the classroom.</p>



<p>With this in mind, Bluebik launched &#8220;Boost: The Transformation Program&#8221; to develop high-potential interns through real experiences and hands-on learning. The program is designed to help students build the skills needed for the future, including leadership skills, through practical work and continuous learning. In 2025, we opened applications for BOOST Gen 1 and received strong feedback from the interns who joined the program.</p>

<p>To help students who are still deciding, we invited BOOST Gen 1 to share their firsthand experiences. Over two months in the program, what did they learn, what changes did they see in themselves, and what made BOOST feel like more than an internship for them?</p>

<p>“If I had to explain what ‘BOOST’ is, I think it’s like a home that is filled with experiences and memories.</p>



<p>Over the 2 months, BOOST was a space that let me try things, make mistakes, and truly take action. I really fell, but I also had to get back up faster than before. I learned what real consulting work is like, in ways that you don’t get in the classroom.</p>



<p>Here, I met mentors with many different backgrounds and strengths. They helped guide me, asked questions, and challenged my thinking so I could go further than I used to. I got to talk to and spend time with real stakeholders, to understand problems and needs from real experiences, not just research alone. We also had a training every Friday afternoon, plus fun activities like Fun Friday that helped us relax from work.</p>



<p>One thing that was truly special is that I didn’t just gain work experience. I gained friends and people who felt like family, people I was genuinely close with and could talk to about anything. We went through tired days, discouraged days, happy days, and pressured days together, and in the end, it became a core memory that I will never forget.</p>



<p><strong>What BOOST gave me did not end in 2025. What continues into 2026 is my friends from BOOST and everyone at Bluebik, including:</strong></p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A Conversation with “Fon” Associate Director, Program Management at Bluebik</strong></h4>



<p>What does an IT Project Manager actually do? How is this role different from a general Project Manager? Most importantly, how does becoming an IT PM contribute to long-term career growth?</p>

<p>To answer these questions, we asked Fon, Associate Director, Program Management in our Digital Excellence and Delivery (DX) team, to share her story. With her experience leading complex projects and mentoring junior IT PMs, Fon gives us an inside look at how standards, delivery, and growth come together at Bluebik.</p>



<p>Before joining Bluebik, Fon held leadership roles, including BA Lead and Test Lead, focusing on specific parts of the software development process. Over time, she became curious about how all the pieces fit together and wanted to see the whole picture. This curiosity led her to become an IT Project Manager at Bluebik, where she now manages IT projects from start to finish for a range of organizations and industries.</p>



<p>This change meant moving from a narrow area of expertise to a broader, end-to-end view that requires clear thinking and attention to detail. Although the transition was challenging, it helped Fon grow both personally and professionally.</p>



<p>In this article, Fon shares five key areas of growth she has experienced as an IT PM. But first, let’s take a closer look at what the IT PM role entails and how working at Bluebik supports that growth.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The IT Project Manager: The Central Hub of Communication from Start to Finish</strong></h3>



<p>In many ways, the IT PM shares similarities with Project Managers. The key difference lies in the nature of IT projects, which require a deeper technical understanding and constant coordination across diverse teams, often spanning functions, countries, and time zones.</p>



<p>An IT PM works closely with everyone involved in the delivery process, including Business Analysts (BA) and System Analysts (SA), Developers, Infrastructure teams, and QA.</p>



<p>At the core of the role is acting as the project’s <strong>Single Source of Truth</strong>, the central point of communication and decision-making. This includes setting direction, planning activities across teams, aligning priorities, managing risks, and resolving issues. All project-critical information converges at the IT PM.</p>



<h5 class="wp-block-heading">Fon explains:</h5>



<p>“Our role is to manage and resolve issues that arise day to day. When a team encounters a problem, we need to understand what it is, how critical it is, and whether it can wait or requires immediate action. If the issue is critical, we also need to decide how to manage it and whether a war room is necessary. All of these decisions fall under the responsibility of the IT PM.”</p>



<p>When making decisions, Fon relies on two key dimensions:<strong> impact </strong>and<strong> likelihood of risk</strong>.</p>



<p>“Every project has its roadmap and product priorities. We know which components are critical; for example, the core features of an application. If those are blocked, the product can’t move forward, which makes it a critical issue with direct business impact. If it also affects the timeline, the risk becomes even higher and requires urgent action. On the other hand, if the business impact hasn’t materialized yet because we’re still ahead of the timeline, the issue may be monitored first. That’s why we always assess both dimensions together.”</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What Makes a Good Manager at Bluebik: From Challenge to Mastery</strong></h3>



<p>Challenging work often accelerates growth. For Fon, one of the most demanding experiences in her career was managing a large-scale project involving nearly 100 team members, a substantial budget, and high public visibility.</p>



<p>The project had a tight deadline, and the direction, priorities, and requirements often changed quickly. It was a high-pressure situation, but it helped Fon and her team grow and improve their skills.</p>



<p>“The first thing we had to do was prioritize work across teams and manage issues in a way that allowed everyone to stay focused. In many cases, the IT PM acts as the first line of defense, absorbing complexity so the team can perform at their best and deliver quality work, even under pressure.”</p>



<p>“We also had to constantly assess risks, both those within our control and those outside it. If we don’t take action A, B, or C, what could go wrong? And if those actions aren’t possible, are there alternative approaches that can reduce the intensity of the risk?”</p>



<p>The project was successfully delivered in about four months. Although it was the most challenging project Fon has worked on, she sees it as a time of exponential learning for herself and the entire team.</p>



<p>“An IT PM needs to create an environment where the team feels safe to experiment and learn. Mistakes are okay; we try again. We don’t blame each other. That’s part of the learning process. Throughout the project, everyone understands that we’re working toward meaningful change.”</p>



<p>Fon also believes that success is never achieved by just one person.</p>



<p>“The PM is only one part of the equation. What truly matters is that the team moves forward together with a shared growth mindset. Even if the PM helps drive or coordinate the work, success belongs to everyone, and everyone deserves credit.”</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Growth Environment at Bluebik: A Place for Ongoing Development</strong></h3>



<p>While Fon consistently encourages a growth mindset within her teams, she has also continued to grow herself, supported by Bluebik’s growth-oriented environment. She highlights several factors that have made a meaningful difference.</p>



<p>The first is <strong>decision-making autonomy and trust.</strong></p>



<p>“At Bluebik, we have a high degree of autonomy. There’s no rigid rule that says you must use only one methodology. We’re encouraged to experiment and learn. If we adapt our approach and it results in a smarter or more effective outcome, we can openly discuss it, apply it to our projects, and even share those learnings with other teams.”</p>



<p>Another key factor is the <strong>culture of knowledge sharing</strong>.</p>



<p>“If a project feels stuck, we can reach out to other teams for lessons learned or advice. That’s something quite different from other environments. We have mentors and colleagues across projects who are always willing to help, whether they’re PMs or specialists in other domains. Knowledge sharing is always encouraged, both within and beyond the scope of our own projects.”</p>



<p>Bluebik also gives IT PMs the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with diverse clients and industries. The company also encourages trying new tools and technologies to boost productivity. Nowadays, the projects often involve teams from multiple countries. English communication skills also naturally become part of the IT PM’s professional growth.</p>

<p>These five areas have made Fon more confident and secure in her career. She also hopes that future IT PMs can learn from her experiences and those of her teams, passing on a positive attitude to the next generation.</p>

<p>Rattapol&nbsp;directly oversees both the Business Analyst (BA) and System Analyst (SA) teams, and he has led multiple mobile banking projects for several leading banks in Thailand. These are undoubtedly major projects that many IT professionals would want to tackle at least once in their career, because it means&nbsp;you’re&nbsp;creating something used by millions of people, and what you build becomes an essential part of millions of lives.&nbsp;</p>



<p>We invited&nbsp;Rattapol&nbsp;to share his experiences and the challenges of managing mobile banking projects, along with how he leads teams to build a real legacy in the financial industry.&nbsp;Let’s dive into all of these perspectives in this article.&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Mobile Banking: A Significant Opportunity for IT Professionals </strong></h4>



<p>Rattapol&nbsp;shared how he started working on one particularly tough mobile banking project. At the time, he and his team had never handled this kind of work before. But everyone committed to learning more and sharpening their coding skills until they successfully delivered the project. It became a portfolio piece that everyone&nbsp;remains&nbsp;proud of to this day.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Back then, we were assigned to build a mobile banking app for a bank with a very tight timeline. Our team&nbsp;wasn’t&nbsp;particularly fluent in mobile banking development yet, but we pushed ourselves to learn what we needed and delivered successfully. Ten years later, when more mobile banking projects came in, we were much more ready because it was still the same team, and everyone kept learning and developing themselves.”&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Actually,&nbsp;not many&nbsp;IT professionals get the chance to work on mobile banking in their lifetime.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;when the opportunity came, we wanted to take it at least once,” he said, describing why he accepted that first project ten years ago.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Everything in mobile banking comes with clearly defined timelines. When the Bank of Thailand announces new regulations, every bank needs to respond as quickly as possible.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;what makes it exciting, the collaboration between our team and the bank’s team, with over a hundred people involved. Everyone gives it their absolute all.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>And when those opportunities come, the most important thing to build is trust with clients, so you earn the chance to work together again.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“What I always tell the team is that our core values are professionalism and ownership.&nbsp;Being professional means,&nbsp;we&nbsp;work proactively and keep learning all the time. Ownership means whatever we&nbsp;do;&nbsp;we treat it as our own work. That mindset improves how we approach the job because it makes us think ahead for clients and look for ways to extend innovation.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“If we get to build a mobile banking app and then see people using what we created, we feel incredibly fulfilled, because it feels&nbsp;like&nbsp;this is our work.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;ownership. And once you feel it, it stays with you. When the next project comes, you give it everything again, because you feel like you own the work.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Before each project begins,&nbsp;Rattapol&nbsp;also makes sure the team understands the bigger picture.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“I always show the team the impact of the work before we start, so everyone is aligned&nbsp;on&nbsp;the same goal. Our work is like an orchestra. Everyone may play different instruments or improvise along the way, but we perform under one shared theme and one shared goal.”&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Many Challenges Behind Mobile Banking </strong></h4>



<p>With millions of users and&nbsp;a highly complex&nbsp;financial ecosystem behind every screen, mobile banking naturally comes with significant challenges.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The first challenge in mobile banking is the ‘system.’ It needs to be easy to use because there are millions of users. Next is ‘security.’ The app must provide the highest level of security while still being easy to use. The third is ‘performance,’ meaning when you tap something, it needs to respond&nbsp;immediately. When we can deliver on these three, it means&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;earned the client’s trust.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“And another challenge is ‘time.’ We need to deliver within tight&nbsp;timeframes.&nbsp;Once the app is released to the public, every feature has to work properly.&nbsp;Many times, there are critical constraints, such as the programming language the client used previously.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>There was one time when the vendor no longer supported that language, which meant there would be no security patches to address potential security issues in the future.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;we had to rewrite the code using a different language that the vendor still supported,&nbsp;in order to&nbsp;launch the new app in time to meet the Bank of Thailand’s deadline. If we&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;make it in time, we&nbsp;wouldn’t&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;the Bank of Thailand’s policy and would have to take the app down, making it unavailable for service. This would&nbsp;definitely impact&nbsp;a large number of&nbsp;people.”&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Super App: The Trend of the Era That&#8217;s Sometimes Like an &#8216;Iceberg&#8217; </strong></h4>



<p>Rattapol&nbsp;shared how the market is shifting from multiple separate apps toward Super Apps, where&nbsp;various services&nbsp;coexist in one place.&nbsp;</p>



<p>In the past, you might have seen one organization with multiple apps offering different services. But&nbsp;Rattapol&nbsp;explained that the current trend is combining everything so users can access a range of services in a single app.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;the mission of mobile banking today, and the&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Vulcan team has&nbsp;experienced&nbsp;building Super Apps as well.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“There was one project where we had to build a Super App by combining two apps into one. One was for mutual&nbsp;funds,&nbsp;and the other was for provident funds. Previously, if users wanted to understand their investment allocation, they had to download two apps, log in to each one, and add things up themselves using a calculator. It was complicated.&nbsp;We redesigned the experience so they could access everything in one app, with the investment portfolio&nbsp;consolidated. It solved a real pain point for users who have multiple financial products.”&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>The challenge was integrating the two login security systems and making them as seamless as possible. </strong></p>



<p>“First, we had to figure out how to combine the security systems for logging in from two places into one and make it as seamless as possible. We had to create that innovation, because we were merging the frontend experience while the backend still relied on the original components.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;it was&nbsp;kind of like&nbsp;spaghetti, but we got through it.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>And before anything can be built, the team also needs to carefully study the legacy system that was originally built by another team.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“To&nbsp;consolidate&nbsp;the Super App, we had to study the existing business logic of each app first. Sometimes the software house that built it before&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;leave documentation, so we had to open the source code and figure it out ourselves. And the fun part is that sometimes the source code we received&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;match what was running in production. We had to help them investigate everything all over again.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Rattapol&nbsp;explained that what users see is often just the&nbsp;tip of the iceberg.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Besides updating the app based on the client’s new UX/UI, we also had to understand the existing business logic. What the client sees might only be the&nbsp;tip of the iceberg. Underneath,&nbsp;there’s&nbsp;a lot more work. For example, one client’s mobile banking app had been used for&nbsp;nearly ten&nbsp;years and went through multiple versions, from the first users to today. They may not have had specs in the past, so our System Analysts had to read the code and analyze what needed to happen next based on how it was originally built. Then they turned it into a flow for the developers to implement. And when we delivered the work, we also completed full documentation so the client could understand what the entire iceberg&nbsp;actually consisted&nbsp;of.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>And of course, the&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;Vulcan team works using Agile, which allows them to review point by point, step by step. When feedback and suggestions come in, they make immediate adjustments before moving forward. The key principle is to make the work as sustainable and easy to build on as possible.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The work we do for clients is to solve problems and make the app expandable. Based on the framework we build, if new modules are added later, they should be easy to add without disrupting the original structure. Adding small features should never mean rebuilding the entire app. We&nbsp;design for&nbsp;scalability. We design for the future. And yes,&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;harder than doing it cheaply and finishing fast, but what we do is painful, but complete.”&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Deployment Day: A Moment of Unity </strong></h4>



<p>Mobile banking is an app that’s used almost around the clock, which means the team needs to stay prepared at all times to deliver a smooth rollout.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;why deployment day feels like a moment of unity for everyone on the project.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“One thing&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;proud of is our team’s closeness. Even though deployment could be handled by just the developers, our entire team stays together. We prepare a deployment plan with the client: shutting down the system at a certain hour, backing up data, installing components, and running scripts. We might bring the system back up around midnight, and&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;when the client starts testing. If it passes, we move to the next step. If not, we roll back and fix it.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Rattapol&nbsp;also shared the fun and challenges of unexpected errors. Like one time when deployment finished at 3 AM and he was driving home. As he was getting close to home, someone from the data center called to report an urgent case caused by an internal system issue. He had to drive back to fix it fully. In one sense, this is&nbsp;truly hard&nbsp;work. But for&nbsp;Rattapol, flexible working methods and time matter. He and the team can manage their own schedules.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;driving back to resolve it properly was simply what he knew he had to do.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>He emphasized why flexibility is essential. </strong></p>



<p>“Rigid working hours&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;win&nbsp;people’s hearts. In our line of work, night deployments will always happen. When&nbsp;you’re&nbsp;building banking apps used 24/7, you&nbsp;have to&nbsp;deploy at&nbsp;night,&nbsp;so users have a seamless morning.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>In the case he mentioned, he had to fix the issue before 8 AM because it affected&nbsp;the corporate&nbsp;payroll system.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“If I&nbsp;didn’t&nbsp;pick up the phone or make it back in time, many people&nbsp;wouldn’t&nbsp;have gotten paid that morning. I was lucky I was still driving when they called.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Moments like this remind him that mobile banking is more than coding.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;real&nbsp;impact on real&nbsp;lives, full of pressure but also full of unmatched opportunities to grow.&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>BA/SA: The Next Generation </strong></h4>



<p>From his experience working on mobile banking and many other fun and challenging projects,&nbsp;Rattapol&nbsp;wants to pass opportunities to the next generation.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We are always looking for successors. When we see someone with potential, we coach them fully. We&nbsp;observe&nbsp;not to criticize but to see whether&nbsp;they’re&nbsp;ready for the next step. Promotion is a meaningful opportunity.”&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Coaching for Rattapol, goes beyond work. </strong></p>



<p>“Also, the coaching&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;talking about involves conversations, not just about work. Sometimes we talk about mental health too, whether&nbsp;they’re&nbsp;okay and whether they can handle it. We need to look after them. I believe that if we can care for them like&nbsp;they’re&nbsp;part of the family, they can give their all to their work because they have nothing to worry about. When they perform well,&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;ready to support their promotion. When the team has warmth and trust, ready to fight together, all of this makes them want to give their all in the years ahead.”&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>For someone to work at an organization for nearly 20 years means they have found what the organization values, and the organization has also become a place that supports what <em>they</em> value as well.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The two individuals who share their perspectives with us this time exemplify this perfectly. The first has worked at Bluebik Vulcan (starting from when it was still MFEC before becoming part of Bluebik Group) for a full 20 years. The other has worked here for an equally impressive 19 years—and this is her first and only workplace.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Rattapol (Pom)</strong> is the Deputy Head of Business Solution for the Tech Solution Delivery team at Bluebik Vulcan, directly overseeing the Business Analyst and System Analyst (BA/SA) team.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Suporanee (Jae)</strong> is a Associate Director for the Tech Solution Delivery team, like Pom, but she supports clients in the capacity of Financial PMO. </p>



<p>Both started their careers as Developers before transitioning into the business track and growing into management roles. Throughout their tenure, they have both gained extensive experience as BA/SA professionals and have worked alongside junior BA/SA team members for many years.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The reason they have stayed with the organization for two decades is essentially the same: the “enjoyment” and “challenge” within every project they undertake. For them, transitioning from a completed project to a new one is like “trying something new” because every project brings a different flavor. The more successful they are with each project, the more they enjoy this path and the more they want to challenge themselves with new endeavors.&nbsp;</p>



<p>This time, we invited Pom and Jae to share their perspectives on the three key factors that lead to BA/SA success—elements they continuously strive to cultivate in their work: <strong>Trust, Ownership, and Flexibility.</strong> They also discuss creating a <strong>Legacy</strong> that serves as a way of working that can be passed on to future generations of professionals with pride.&nbsp;</p>



<p>What do these aspects look like in practice? Let’s explore them together.&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Trust: Earning Client Confidence by “Buttoning the First Button Right” and Delivering Quality Work&nbsp;</strong></h4>



<p>Gaining client trust is one of the most critical factors, and to earn that trust, the team must start at the right point. Pom explains that being a BA/SA requires understanding the “true objective of the project” first and foremost.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We need to understand first which part of the client’s business the application we’re building is meant to support. For example, is it to increase the customer base, reduce company costs, or increase revenue? We need to thoroughly understand what the real goal is, what the project theme is, and who the primary target audience is. With these principles, we can build the project within the framework the client wants and begin to earn their confidence.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Naturally, from the client&#8217;s perspective, achieving all objectives simultaneously is the ideal scenario. Therefore, Pom believes BA/SA professionals must communicate with clients to help them see priorities— which goals should take precedence, how to sequence them, what is necessary and connected to the company&#8217;s core values, and what is merely “nice to have.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jae agrees with this point, stating: “Understanding the client&#8217;s needs deeply as the ‘first button’ is most critical. If we misinterpret the requirements, the entire project team will lose direction.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>The next priority is quality. Jae defines “quality work” in terms of <strong>commitment</strong> and <strong>Agile methodology</strong>, which ensures continuous quality checks.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“First and foremost, whatever we commit to, we must deliver accordingly. Our work must be of good quality with no bugs.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We must continuously inspect quality to ensure our output meets standards and client requirements. When integrating other components, we must test to ensure that what we&#8217;re adding doesn&#8217;t damage previous work. This is regression testing—a process that ensures changes or additions of new code don’t cause other elements to regress.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>This also includes working closely with clients with sincerity. (On the day of our conversation, both Pom and Jae had just returned from an on-site visit at a client&#8217;s office, which is a core responsibility for both.)&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jae explains: “As consultants, we believe in providing straightforward advice. We&#8217;re not just focused on selling projects; we offer alternatives or adjust processes that may not necessarily require a digital solution, so clients feel they can consult with us long-term.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Pom adds: “Ultimately, to make clients trust us, when they have issues and pick up the phone to call us, there must always be a response. We must provide service without abandonment.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Delivering quality work and non-abandoning services naturally comes with many challenges, which Pom believes BA/SA professionals must always find ways to manage. For instance, if client requirements change, we must negotiate and manage expectations to avoid harming the project.&nbsp;</p>



<p>If there are misalignments within the client&#8217;s organization, it is the BA/SA&#8217;s responsibility to communicate and coordinate to reach a clear mutual agreement. Even when challenges come in the form of old documentation or legacy technology, the team must use “investigative” skills to analyze those documents or code to fully understand the data and systems first.&nbsp;</p>



<p>When these challenges are managed effectively, <strong>quality</strong> and <strong>client trust</strong> naturally follow.&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ownership: A Mindset That Drives Teams to Perform at Full Capacity&nbsp;</strong></h4>



<p>What motivates people to devote their energy to work more than feeling ownership of that work? On this point, Jae shares:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Working with the mindset that the output is ‘your own’ or is ‘your child’ leads to design and development that is attentive to quality.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>She encourages the team to view things from the user’s perspective:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“When designing something, try to see if you were the user yourself—if we built it this way, would you want to use it? Or would we be confident enough to tell others this is what we built? If we’re confident enough to say that, it means we have ownership.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Moreover, involving everyone in the work, regardless of their level, helps build shared ownership.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“At Bluebik Vulcan, we give people at every level the opportunity to take responsibility because everyone&#8217;s opinions are valuable. The level of risk they manage may differ, but participation is important.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Pom shares a similar sentiment: “I always tell my junior colleagues that one of our key themes is ownership. Whatever we do, we must view ourselves as the user and see that work as our own. This influences our mindset positively because it makes us think ahead for the client and consider innovation.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>He adds: “If we build a mobile banking app and see someone using it on the train, it’s incredibly fulfilling because we feel this is our work. That’s ownership. Once that feeling happens, it carries forward—into every new project.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Just as Jae mentioned, Pom also encourages the team to think from the user’s perspective:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“It’s about considering how we would use it if we were them. And if the app is internal for a client organization, we must help the team understand how important it is to the client’s employees. When we highlight the impact, ownership will follow naturally.”&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Flexibility: Time and Method Flexibility That Comes With Proper Balance&nbsp;</strong></h4>



<p>Saying that both Pom and Jae are leaders who provide flexibility to their teams almost constantly would not be an exaggeration. Flexibility leads to better working methods, timing, and performance—but it must be balanced with discipline to avoid compromising accountability.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Regarding working methods, Pom explains that he never limits which tools people can use, but there must be standards and templates to ensure consistency:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Everything can be adjusted. If you find a tool that doesn’t serve you well, you can return to what we&#8217;ve prepared. But at minimum, understand why the template exists—it&#8217;s there so developers can continue working, so clients can sign off requirements, and so testers can write test cases. Once the foundation is clear, the team can build variations. That’s flexibility.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Working hours are also flexible due to trust in the team&#8217;s ownership.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Fixing working hours doesn’t win employees’ hearts. Our work sometimes requires late-night deployments—especially for banking apps with 24/7 users. When deployments must happen at night, we must manage it so that users can use the app smoothly in the morning.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Therefore, it’s impossible to monitor everyone’s entry time. Flexibility is essential—but it must not be chaotic.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jae emphasizes that flexibility must coexist with responsibility:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We work as a team. You can manage your time, but when it’s time to integrate, you must deliver according to commitment. During critical times like testing phases, the team should be together so adjustments can be made quickly.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>She also notes that tool selection must consider both ideal technology and client constraints—budget, familiarity, and long-term maintainability.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Flexibility also requires the right environment. Jae highlights the importance of <strong>face-to-face communication</strong>: “Meeting in person helps us read body language and ensures everyone truly understands one another.”&nbsp;</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Legacy: What You Can Proudly Pass On to the Next Generation&nbsp;</strong></h4>



<p>For Jae, legacy begins with building <strong>responsibility</strong> within the team, which becomes the foundation for trust and flexibility.&nbsp;</p>



<p>It also includes grooming future leaders through on-the-job coaching—supporting and advising rather than directing every step. Seniors help coach juniors so each person can develop their own management style.&nbsp;</p>



<p>During periods of heavy workload, leadership presence matters:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“When staying late, leaders must stay late together—maybe buying snacks or stepping in to talk to clients so juniors can focus. This shows care and responsibility, ensuring no one feels isolated.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>For Pom, legacy is about passing on <strong>working methods and principles</strong>, covering standards, documentation discipline, and client service.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We always look for successors. When new juniors join, we spend time helping them understand our standards and the stories behind past successes. Each project has a story that explains how our methods led to results.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“We pass on working methods we agree upon—how we manage documents, how we take care of clients. Everything has a reason behind it. We don’t pass on only the technical aspects; we must also pass on how to earn client trust.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Pom also believes that giving opportunities—even after mistakes—and caring for mental well-being is part of leadership legacy. When leaders model empathy, the next generation continues to that mindset.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Ultimately, for both Pom and Jae, Trust, Ownership, and Flexibility together form the foundation for building a lasting legacy—one that leads to quality work, long-term success, and smoother collaboration across generations.&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">So, what are the main attributes that Ping considers essential? Let’s deep dive into his three key attributes!&nbsp;</h3>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>1. AI Mindset: Using AI to Make Work Easier and Faster Than Ever </strong></h3>



<p>The main quality that Ping-Siphong, Director of Bluebik’s powerhouse DX team, is looking for is the ability to leverage AI to complete work more efficiently and at a higher quality. This helps professionals reduce repetitive tasks, while giving the organization more time to create even better solutions. Ping explains:&nbsp;</p>



<p>“The first thing we&#8217;re looking for right now is definitely an AI Mindset. During interviews, we always ask if the candidate has ever used AI. If they say yes, we’ll ask how. To me, if someone hasn’t used AI at all, it might mean they haven’t realized how important it is to eliminate repetitive or low-value tasks — which is necessary. We believe that people who use AI can work faster and better.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“So, when someone says they haven’t tried AI, we’ll ask from another angle about what they’ve been able to optimize. If they’ve built templates or created systematic workflows, that’s still a plus. But ultimately, I’m more interested in those who already use AI in their work because we’re an organization that needs higher productivity than others. For example, an SA (System Analyst) who’s had developer experience before will have an advantage over those who haven’t. That’s because using AI through coding can significantly boost productivity compared to those who can’t.”&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Ping believes that AI Mindset is especially vital for SA roles, as using AI to create better specifications (Specs) will become a foundation of future work.&nbsp;</p>



<p>&nbsp;“Some roles might not immediately see how to start using AI to boost productivity — like SA roles. So, when we began introducing this change, we started building AI Mindset across the team. We encouraged team members to explore how they could use AI in their daily work — in any way possible — but in a structured and measurable way.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“For instance, each project usually contains multiple API (Application Programming Interface) Specs. The team believed AI could help, so we let members propose new ideas and compare results. It turned out to be a success, and we shared those outcomes across the team. We kept repeating this — learning, improving, and adopting the best approach. Gradually, everyone became more confident and familiar working with AI. Then we leveled up to more complex Specs, like connecting to external APIs or standard APIs, and found that AI really helped speed things up. <p>Ping illustrated this mindset with an example from Bom, a Senior System Analyst who works directly under his supervision:&nbsp;</p>



<p>&nbsp;“As I once told him, for SA work, if you create good Specs, the evolution of AI Coding will soon make it possible to convert those Specs directly into code. What impressed me about Bom was that he went back to learn how it could be done. He took additional courses and came back to show me what he’d learned. He said he did it outside work hours, purely out of his own passion. When I looked at it, it was good enough to use. If I see something that looks like a quick win and doesn’t take much time, I’ll have the team try it right away. I really appreciate that he proactively learned to prepare for what’s ahead.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“He even started building small proof-of-concept ideas to test what he’d learned, without me asking him to. That’s a clear sign of someone with a strong Growth Mindset.”&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>3. Team Mindset: Seeing the Importance of Teamwork Filled with Understanding </strong></h3>



<p>&nbsp;“When problems happen — like project delays or workflow issues — the best way to fix them is to talk openly as a team about what’s blocking us, how we can improve the process, and how we can help one another,” Ping says&nbsp;</p>



<p>&nbsp;One of the questions Ping often asks during interviews is:&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong><em>“If a teammate can’t complete their work on time, what would you do?”</em> </strong></p>



<p>The answers that stand out to him are those showing empathy and accountability — addressing the issue through open conversation rather than passing the problem to others.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Ping believes teamwork is at the heart of the DX culture — a team known for its close relationships and mutual understanding. He fosters this by treating himself not as a boss, but as an older brother to his team&nbsp;</p>



<p>“When I lead, I don’t see myself as a boss. I usually tell my team that I’m more of a Big Brother. We’re their older siblings, and they’re like our younger ones. We can talk about everything — life, work, our future — and even hang out together. There’s hardly anything we need to hide from each other. I tell them that when they take care of their own juniors later, I want them to use the same approach. Of course, they can adapt it to their own style. What matters most is keeping that sibling-like bond. When something happens, the team feels comfortable enough to open up, and that leads to real solutions.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“I believe the closer people are, the better the work goes,” Ping says. Passing this sibling-style culture down from generation to generation makes everyone feel united and ready to face challenges together.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During his first seven months as a Senior System Analyst, Bom feels he is in the right place at the right time. He is devoting his energy to mastering new skills and building new perspectives. What he&nbsp;seeks&nbsp;is something no classroom can teach, lessons that come only through hands-on experience&nbsp;and coaching.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Before joining&nbsp;Bluebik, I was a Senior Full Stack Developer at a software house,” Bom recalls.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Now&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;a Senior System Analyst at&nbsp;Bluebik. My main responsibilities as an SA involve gathering requirements from clients, creating API specifications, and passing them on to our developer team for implementation and delivery based on the agreed criteria. Simply put, I serve as the bridge between clients and our team.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Having experience in both frontend and backend gives him a clear advantage.&nbsp;<br>“The SA role at&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;requires us to act as consultants for clients. When consulting, clients expect us to have solid technical knowledge and to be reliable. The solutions we propose must make sense and truly work. So, for someone who has worked in frontend or backend before,&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;easier to understand whether what the client wants is&nbsp;feasible, how much time it will take, and which solution is the most suitable to recommend.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>When asked what motivated the switch, Bom smiles.&nbsp;<br>“Honestly, curiosity,” he says. “I wanted to move beyond pure coding to understand more about the business side, connect with more people, and take on work that feels different from my old routine.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>He also believes age should never be a limitation.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“These days, I&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;think age defines anyone’s ability to change jobs.&nbsp;As long as you know you can do the work, most companies are open-minded about it.&nbsp;Bluebik&nbsp;is a clear example.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>“In your early 30s, you still have the energy and time to give your best,” he continues. “I believe that when you put your full effort into what you do, the rewards will come later — whether in income, job stability, or knowledge gained.&nbsp;That’s&nbsp;why&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;giving my all during this period of my life.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Beyond the SA role, there are many paths you can take here. Some people eventually discover they want to move into&nbsp;different roles, and&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;possible. For those who want to&nbsp;continue on&nbsp;the technical track, there are positions like Software Architect or Solution Architect waiting ahead. And if you want to grow into management,&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;also&nbsp;an option. The path forward really depends on what you want. Here, the directors never close any doors.”&nbsp;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What Happens When You Switch Careers! </strong></h3>



<p>“As an SA, technical skills still matter, especially backend knowledge,” Bom explains.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Then comes frontend and UX/UI understanding. Everyone also has their own area of focus. For me,&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;software design, cloud, and AI. When you transition into the SA role, you might not be implementing piece by piece anymore, but you get to work on the overall system design. So, things like cloud architecture are something you&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;overlook.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Beyond technical&nbsp;expertise, Bom emphasizes the importance of soft skills.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“Communication, persuasion, and negotiation are all crucial. My first seven months were incredibly challenging. Coming from a developer background, I had to learn how to talk to people, lead discussions, and manage both teammates and clients.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Working in an Agile environment has also shaped his growth.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“In Agile, everything revolves around communication — fast to know, fast to fix.&nbsp;When users test and request changes, you have to respond quickly, understand their reasoning, and find common ground.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;not always easy. Sometimes clients want something that&nbsp;doesn’t&nbsp;fit the best solution, and you need to guide the conversation carefully. That takes practice.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>He smiles. “These seven months have helped me grow tremendously. I can see the difference in how I communicate, how I carry myself, and how I manage people in different situations. It’s been tough,&nbsp;but&nbsp;absolutely worth it. One of the biggest skills&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;gained as an SA is improving my soft skills, and I believe&nbsp;that’s&nbsp;an investment that always pays off.”&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A Team That Pushes You Forward and Catches You When You Fall </strong></h3>



<p>“I can confidently say that&nbsp;Bluebik’s&nbsp;SA team is highly trusted.&nbsp;We’re&nbsp;the people who need to speak the language of clients one day and the language of developers the next, and&nbsp;I think we&nbsp;do that quite well. From what&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;seen, both internal and external teams have a lot of trust in us.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>He continues, “We’re&nbsp;lucky to have SAs with the same fighting spirit and&nbsp;a strong sense&nbsp;of understanding. Here, we cheer each other on, set goals together, and align our passion toward a shared vision. It gives everyone motivation because we know what&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;working toward.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>Bom believes that going through difficult projects together naturally strengthens relationships.&nbsp;<br>“When you go through tough times as a team, you become closer. I often&nbsp;hang out&nbsp;with my teammates outside of work because&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;the easiest way to build relationships. Over time, coming to work feels like meeting friends.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>That closeness makes a real difference. “The closer we are, the better the collaboration. When someone has something, they might normally hesitate to say, they feel comfortable coming directly to us. That level of openness helps reduce problems in the team significantly.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>When asked what kind of senior he is, Bom laughs. “If I compare it to the military,&nbsp;I’d&nbsp;hand my juniors a weapon and let them go into the field themselves. My job is to stand behind them, ready to patch them up if they get hurt. For me,&nbsp;it’s&nbsp;important that they face challenges on their own while knowing&nbsp;there’s&nbsp;someone behind them ready to catch them if they fall.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“When I assign work, I also take responsibility for it. If something goes wrong,&nbsp;I’m&nbsp;the first person to be accountable, not my juniors.”&nbsp;</p>



<p>He pauses for a moment before adding, “Having seniors who support you from behind gives you peace of mind. When you know it’s okay to fail as long as you give your best, you become more confident&nbsp;to try&nbsp;new things.&nbsp;I actually learned this mindset from my boss, who manages me in the same way.&nbsp;And&nbsp;I’ve&nbsp;found that it really works. Everything should start with people. When you have a good team and good people, everything else will follow.”&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Beyond Standards: Success Isn’t 100 — It’s 110 </strong></h3>



<p>“For me, success means going beyond expectations,” Bom says. “If we set the goal at 100 and achieve 110, that’s what I call success.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>From our conversation about Bom’s new role and career transition, one thing stands out: his commitment to working “beyond standards.”&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;a value that Ping-Siphong, Director of Digital Excellence and Delivery (DX), sees clearly in him.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“I once told Bom that for SA work, if we can create a really good Spec, then with the evolution of AI coding, it should soon be possible to convert it directly into code,” Ping recalls.&nbsp;</p>



<p>“What impressed me about Bom was that he went back to research how it could be done, took&nbsp;additional&nbsp;courses, and even came back with a prototype. He told me he&nbsp;worked on&nbsp;it outside of office hours purely out of passion — and when I reviewed it, it&nbsp;actually worked. I really appreciate how he took the initiative to learn something that supports the direction our team is moving toward.”&nbsp;</p>
