Bluebik Seals Takeover of SAP Savvy GMVPI to Strengthen Its End-to-End Digital Transformation Services

Bluebik Group Public Company Limited (BBIK), a leading consultancy on digital transformation, announced its investment in GMVPI Company Limited (GMVPI), a comprehensive SAP consulting company, by acquiring 80% of shares from existing shareholders. This investment will further develop and expand enterprise resource planning (ERP) services and Bluebik will reach the clients that use SAP for the management of their organizations and have the competitive edge that will justify its status of being a leading consultancy in the region.

Mr. Pochara Arayakarnkul, Chief Executive Officer of Bluebik Group Public Company Limited, said the investment in GMVPI that had extensive expertise in systems, applications and products in data procession (SAP) would strengthen Bluebik and give it an advantage to become a consultancy on end-to-end digital transformation. The customer base of Bluebik will expand to cover the organizations that use SAP to manage their operations. The organizations are the large companies that are ready to invest in innovations to boost the flexibility and efficiency of their own management and even develop new products on SAP.

“With the tide of digital transformation, many organizations see the importance of applying new technologies to promote the efficiency of their business. SAP is the highly stable system which wins recognition from so many leading organizations that have used it for their management. This is the reason why the Company decided to invest in GMVPI. Bluebik believes that the 20-million-baht acquisition of the 80% stake in GMVPI will not only develop its competitiveness but also increase the long-term growth potential of GMVPI. Bluebik and GMVPI plan to combine their strengths and jointly develop new products and solutions on SAP to better serve the needs of clients in the era of digital transformation.

Mr. Warat Laithong, Managing Director and Founder of GMVPI Company Limited, said that over the past five years after the foundation of the company, many large-scale corporate organizations entrusted it to design and develop solutions for their SAP application. The turning point comes today when the company becomes a part of Bluebik. This collaboration will strengthen the services of GMVPI and expand its customer base to reach large organizations in a wider range of industries.

GMVPI was established in 2017 to provide comprehensive consulting on SAP covering SAP business process flow design, SAP implementation, SAP customization and enhancement development, SAP support and maintenance and SAP training. Regarding its strengths that are different from other service providers, GMVPI focuses on customization and enhancement in its SAP system design and development to maximize efficiency and conveniences for users.

Besides, GMVPI is the first company that successfully produced a solution to link SAP and the LINE platform. The winds of digital transformation are propelling Bluebik’s steady growth resulting in its revenue of 197.93 million baht in the first nine months of 2021, surging by 60.32% from a year earlier and its net profit of 45.53 million baht, soaring by 40.32%. In 2022, the Company expects to increase its income from services by at least 30% through the expansion of most of its main services namely Big Data & Advanced Analytics which enhances efficiency in the data storage and analysis of organizations, Digital Excellence and Delivery covering the development of digital systems and technological consulting and Management Consulting for better strategies and management. The Company also intends to raise income from its Strategic Project Management Office services (Strategic PMO) and its new Marketing Transformation & Marketing Strategy services featuring technological application for the betterment of comprehensive marketing processes and complete marketing strategies.
