Interning in the tech field is not just about writing code or fixing bugs. It’s about working with real systems, tackling real challenges, discovering your own potential, and experiencing a professional culture that broadens your perspective.
At Bluebik, tech interns—from Data Engineers, Cybersecurity specialists, Back-end and Front-end developers—encounter challenges, fun, and opportunities that make their internship much more than just a few months of experience.
Here’s what they’ve learned during their time at Bluebik!

Name: Jao
Internship Position: Back End Engineer, ทีม Digital Excellence and Delivery (DX)
“I was responsible for developing the backend of a real application according to the specifications designed by the SA (System Analyst). The difficulty was interpreting documents and flows that were sometimes too complex to understand at first. Whenever I got stuck, I learned that asking questions and communicating with the SA and my supervisor was the key.” Jao shared his experience.
“Interning at a company that integrates Consulting with Technology, like Bluebik, was a huge advantage because it allowed me to develop skills beyond purely technical work,” Jao continued. Understanding clients through discussions and communication helped him realize that building a good product requires not only technical skills but also a clear understanding of client needs.
He learned that working with others and seeing the big picture is critical. “I enjoy communicating with others because a developer who can communicate well has a huge advantage. Communication, understanding the system as a whole, and collaborating with others gave me the chance to ask questions, speak up, think critically, and broaden my career path beyond just being a developer.”

Name: Mint
Internship Position: Front End Engineer, ทีม Digital Excellence and Delivery (DX)
“I interned as a Front-end Engineer, responsible for fixing issues identified by QA (Quality Assurance),” Mint shared. “At first, I was quite confused about the file and folder structure, but after asking questions and learning step by step from the seniors, I started to understand the system and work more efficiently.”
“Interning at Bluebik helped me learn how to manage work and approach problem-solving effectively. I developed analytical thinking, communication skills, and a better understanding of problem-solving, which can be applied to multiple career paths,” Mint said.
She added that the most important lesson was taking the initiative to act. “Starting to work on tasks is the true beginning of learning. Being open to feedback helped me improve and gave me more confidence in adapting and solving real-world problems.”

Name: Copter
Internship Position: Data Engineer, ทีม Advanced Insights (AI)
Copter shared, “I was responsible for Data Mapping from Source Tables to Target Tables on the database. I started by studying the Data Dictionary to understand the structure and purpose of tables on both sides, and designed the mapping, specifying which Source column links to which Target column and the conditions for data transformation.”
He also learned more about AI during his internship. “I got to learn many AI techniques I hadn’t encountered before, along with communication skills, Data Mapping techniques, and knowledge about Fact Tables and Dimension Tables, ensuring the data used downstream is accurate.”
Beyond unlimited snacks and drinks, Copter said, “What impressed me the most was that the seniors always guided me, provided feedback, and taught me tools I had never used before, letting me try them in real work scenarios.”

Name: Trophy
Internship Position: Cybersecurity Consultant, ทีม Cybersecurity (Bluebik Titans)
Even though he was not from a cybersecurity background, Trophy was thrilled to have the opportunity to intern as a Cybersecurity Consultant, a field he was passionate about. “I got to do a variety of tasks, including VA Scans, simulated penetration testing on a Banking Web Application, setting up a Guest WiFi system, and writing Pentest reports.”
Trophy shared his experience of doing a Pentest for the first time: “I was excited to see if I could find vulnerabilities. It was a great way to test the knowledge I had acquired outside the classroom. Even though there were some challenges, the seniors provided guidance at every step.”
“Since I never formally studied cybersecurity in class, I expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflows and different types of tasks. The internship provided exactly that, giving me a complete picture of the process,” Trophy concluded.

Name: Naknan
Internship Position: Project Management Consultant (IT Project Manager), ทีม Digital Excellence and Delivery (DX)
“I worked on a Deployment Application project during the pre-deployment phase, responsible for preparing presentations for management,” Naknan shared. “The most challenging day was during Deployment because I was the lead in creating the Dashboard. If it had problems, we wouldn’t have been able to track progress or issues. Thankfully, the team was very supportive, and everything went smoothly.”
Naknan also got exposure to multiple scopes of work, gaining insight into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and even AI-related tasks.
“Bluebik encourages everyone to learn and try new things while also developing leadership skills. I had opportunities to lead Daily Standup Meetings, understand team concerns, and suggest solutions. Outside of work, we also shared meals and played sports together, truly embodying ‘Work Hard, Play Hard.’” Naknan ends up with a full impression.
