Work you will do
- Implement and configure API gateways (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).
- Develop and maintain API security policies, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
- Ensure seamless API integrations between internal and external systems.
- Monitor API performance and optimize response times.
- Work with development teams to ensure best practices in API design and implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
- Implement API analytics and logging to track usage and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends in API management and security.
Qualification
Let us Talk About You
If you are someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in API management and implementation.
- Experience with API gateways (e.g., Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Understanding of API authentication and security mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their API management services.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting) for automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for API deployment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
