Can you describe your responsibilities during your internship?
“I was involved in a project to develop a Data Warehouse. My responsibilities included constructing Data Marts, performing Data Transformations using SQL, and designing status reports and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in Apache Airflow to ensure timely updates for the client.”

What was it like interning with Bluebik’s Cybersecurity team?
“I felt fortunate to have the opportunity to intern with Bluebik’s Cybersecurity team, even though I had no prior background in this area. Everyone was always supportive, and I felt included and truly part of the team.”
Can you describe your responsibilities during your internship?
“I explored penetration testing, which was quite challenging for me. It took some time to get up to speed with the rest of the team. However, my supervisor and team members were always willing to help whenever I had questions. Later, I participated in a Governance-related project to assess the compliance of various programs.”
How did your expectations before the internship compare to your actual experience?
“Before joining, I wanted to learn about Penetration Testing, and I got the chance to experience it just as I hoped. I ended up learning even more than I expected, as I worked on both web and mobile aspects. In addition, I was introduced to ISO standards for the first time during a Governance project, making it a truly meaningful experience for me.”

“I was impressed by my team’s expertise. They are incredibly intelligent and always supportive. The flexible working hours and friendly environment were a plus. Ice-breaking activities on the first day allowed everyone to relax and connect. I also appreciate that we can share our thoughts openly within the team.”

“I was involved in a client project. My work included gathering client requirements and assisting my team in designing the UX/UI. The challenge was balancing the needs of both the users and the business to ensure a seamless experience. This experience helped me develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will benefit my future career.”
What self-discoveries did you gain during your internship?
“I discovered that I enjoy working as a Business Analyst. While coding skills aren’t necessary, understanding both business and technology is crucial. I also realized that consulting interests me because it involves constant thought exchange with the team. This experience gave me insight into Agile workflows and helped me appreciate team collaboration.”

“My scope focused on Front-end Development, including UI development and API integration from the Backend. It was challenging at first, as I needed to expand my knowledge of concepts and frameworks. However, my supervisor provided valuable advice and assigned me to small side projects to help me adapt and ease the pressure.”
What self-discoveries did you gain during your internship?
“I discovered that I enjoy working in Front-end roles. I also realized that hands-on experience is crucial, as learning from university and self-study alone may not always provide the complete picture.”

I’ve also learned that asking questions is perfectly acceptable. Lastly, a supportive team makes a huge difference—they are always willing to help.”

“I had the opportunity to work in diverse areas, from creating test cases and system testing to collaborating with the discovery team. Initially, I felt pressured to deliver good results. However, once I opened my mind and gave myself a chance, I found that I could absorb new knowledge and take responsibility for my work with positive outcomes.”
What self-discoveries did you gain during your internship?
“I learned that being open allows you to continuously absorb and learn new things, leading to great results. For example, I had to work on Automated Testing, which was outside my comfort zone, as coding wasn’t my strength at the time. By giving it a try, I was able to overcome my doubts and succeed. While my team members consider me a fast learner, I believe there’s always room for improvement and further exploration.”

“Totally agree! It provided me with career advantages and a deeper understanding of the working process. We need to understand each client’s style and needs, allowing us to brainstorm and deliver solutions that clients can adopt and implement successfully.”
